SFTPMS organised a Viper Group Build in October 2009 with the kind sponsorship from E-Hobby HQ Sdn Bhd, F-4dablemodels, Poopeh Hobby Supplies and Tiger Beer.

This is the first part of the collection which graced the halls of the National Museum in 2011

The Merdeka09 exhibition was held on 29th-30th August 2009 at MyScififan Outpost, 2nd Floor, Cineleisure. The venue was kindly sponsored by E@Curve Cineleisure and MyScififan Outpost who have been our ardent supporter to host this event for the 3rd year running.

SFTPMS was given the honours to display or MERDEKA collection in the national museum in Kuala Lumpur for the month of 15 Sept 2011 to 14 Oct 2011. A big shout out of appreciation goes out to En Kamarul (the Director of Muzium Negara) and the curators, Cik Rohana, Pn Miti and Ms Kiew for their support. Not forgetting En Harris of the Graphics Dept and to HHQ and the members who contributed. Gracias

Due to the sudden and untimely demise of a local modeller legend, the late Mr Tog Tan, SFTPMS was glad to have rendered some assistance to the family to take make sure that his unbuilt collection can find their way to a better home.

The Workshop on Nov 27th 2010 highlighted some techniques for weathering AFVs using the hairspray technique and chips and rust using acrylic painting.

ScaleModelsMalaysia2009, SMM09 was held in April at the Cineleisure Shopping Mall, Damansara.

The Annual Merdeka Exhibition was held in the Malaysia Day weekend which fell on 18th and 19th Sept 2010.
